Airbus has selected Sabena technics for its new “Airbus MRO Alliance” as the first MRO member to join the Alliance in Europe.
In line with the increasing demand for MRO services forecast in the next 20 years, Airbus has just launched Airbus MRO Alliance (AMA). The goal is to support Airbus customers around the world by offering them a network of selected MRO companies capable of providing high quality airframe heavy maintenance solutions.
By combining the industrial capacities of well-established MROs with the engineering knowledge of Airbus, AMA aims at minimizing heavy maintenance turnaround time and maximizing added-value on the aircraft during the grounding period.
“We are honored by the continued trust Airbus is placing in our company, which clearly identifies us as a leading supplier of maintenance and modification solutions in the industry. We are proud to be able to support Airbus and their customers in this exciting new alliance. We know that customers expect the highest standards of innovation, quality and performance for their aircraft and Airbus has chosen us to provide all that.”
said Philippe Rochet, Chief Operational Officer of Sabena technics.
Each candidate member has been audited by an Airbus team to make sure they comply with the Airbus standards of quality and high performance.
