Acquisition of French Air & Space Force tanker fleet by Metrea and associated MRO services

Sabena technics is proud and honored to confirm its intermediary role toward both Metrea and French Ministry for Armed Forces within the scope of the acquisition of 14 Air tanker aircrafts C/KC135 along with all spares and tooling as well as long term maintenance services.

This purchase includes both KC-/C-135FR and KC-/C-135RG variants, with transfer of ownership of the first batch of 11 C135FR already effective.

As per the Purchase Agreement, the transfer of ownership for the remaining 3 KC135 will be effective next year.

Thanks to more than 15 years of support to the French MOD, Sabena technics has been awarded by Metrea a multi-year Maintenance Support Agreement for this newly acquired fleet of aircraft in order to keep their maintenance at the highest standard and condition for the best services toward their customers.

Sabena technics is honored by Metrea’s trust and confidence and is eager to demonstrate in the years to come its full dedication, as a MRO, to the service of this world’s largest commercial aerial refueling fleet of C/KC135.
